NEW-LOOK District 1 DUALS

The District 1 Steering Committee has approved a major change in the district's Class AAA Team Duals, expanding the field to 24 teams.According to Dennis Kellon, chairman of the committee, the first through eighth seeds will draw byes in the first round. And except for the losers of the first-round pigtail matches — who are eliminated — the tournament will feature complete wrestlebacks.The first two rounds will be held Thursday, Jan. 22. The survivors return for the final two days, Friday and Saturday, Jan. 30-31, with the AAA championship and third-place final, along with the Class AA final, set for 4 p.m. that Saturday.The first round sits will be Upper Perkiomen, Radnor, Hatboro-Horsham, and Pennsbury, with the final two days of the duals held at Council Rock South.

H-H is sending 3 wrestlers to the PA-AAA State Tournament and Finishes 3rd in the TEAM point standings at Regionals!

2/23/08 - Robert Gribschaw breaks H-H all time wins record with 112!

2/23/08 - Donald Smith gets his 100th career win as an H-H wrestler

2/23/08 - H-H are Co-Champs with Quakertown at PIAA-AAA-D1 North Tournament. H-H advances  7 wrestlers to regionals. Both are a 1st in Hatter history!

2/16/08 - Robert Gribschaw wins OUTSTANDING WRESTLER at sectionals by DOMINATING his opponents!

2/16/08 - H-H Warriors take 9 medals at sectionals sending 9 to Districts - BEST EVER!

12/15/07 - 3 Hatboro-Horsham Wrestling Warriors earned medals at the  King of the Mountain tournament - Central Mountain HS!

Senior Donald Smith 3rd Place at 152.

Freshman Matt Harkins 4th Place at 103.

The H-H Team placed 13th out of 34 teams.

4/2/07 - (This is a secret) Bernie Crandley & Drew Myers will be recognized by the H-H school board for  making it to states.

3/8/07 - Both Myers & Crandley lost in the first round

but both won in their second match. One more win

will place them in medal contention! GOOD LUCK!
