Hatboro-Horsham Wrestling

Warrior Club

Testing for the Warrior Club will begin Tuesday 9/12/2006 from 6:30 to 8:30pm in  the High School Wrestling Room. All H-H High school wrestlers, Keith Valley, and club wrestlers are invited to take the Warrior Club test.

  

 The "Warrior Club" is based mostly

  
on physical fitness and off season workouts. It will not be an easy club to gain membership. It
is designed for athletes who are serious about their strength and cardio conditioning and dedicated
in maintaining top physical fitness. Each participant will be tested in a variety of different exercises.
The exercises chosen are designed to promote a well balanced full body workout.  
        
             Warrior  Club Criteria   
        
Test 1        
The first test will be "Dips" to determine triceps strength   
        
Criteria 135 dips       
Criteria 230 dips       
Criteria 325 dips       
        
Test 2        
The second test will be curling 50% of your individual body weight   
        
Criteria 120 reps       
Criteria 216 reps       
Criteria 312 reps       
        
Test 3        
Test three will be for back strength by doing pull-ups    
        
Criteria 128 pull ups      
Criteria 225 pull ups       
Criteria 322 pull ups      
        
Test 4        
This will be one of two tests to measure chest strength. In this test you will be asked to bench 
a percentage of your individual body weight a certain number of repetitions.  
        
Criteria 1100% 20 reps      
Criteria 2100% 16 reps    or90% 20 reps( you may choose )  
Criteria 3100% 12 reps    or80% 20 reps( you may choose )  
        
Test 5        
This test will also be a chest exercise. You will be asked to bench 150% of your individual weight
        
Criteria 1150% 3 reps      
Criteria 2150% 2 reps      
Criteria 3150% 1 rep      
        
Test 6        
Test six will be testing individual shoulder strength. Each applicant will be tested in the seated
Military press. This is a seated press behind the neck. This test will also use the individual
weight criteria. This will give all applicants a chance to "Earn their Rank"  
        
Criteria 1100% 5 reps   =5 star General    
100% 4 reps   =4 star General    
100% 3 reps   =3 star General    
Criteria 2100% 2 reps   =2 star General
